There are so many vacant buildings around and we’d like to be able to utilize them, there’s so much red tape to get anywhere with that. There’s also the issue of security, we won’t give up though. We will get a building, then we’ll be asking for volunteers to help us when they can. Sandy Coburn and I started this non-profit last month and we’ve helped several homeless people, it’s still not enough though. Many homeless people have been banned from the shelters, either from showing up there intoxicated or person had an altercation while at the shelter. That is why we see so many setting up tents in the streets near the shelters.
